Peak Journalism publishes short, easy-to-read news stories about world affairs, politics, business, technology, science, health, sport and culture. We believe readers deserve to know exactly how those stories are made, so here it is in plain words.

How our stories are made

  • Gathered automatically. Our stories are based on reporting by other news websites. We collect it automatically through their public RSS feeds, and only read pages that those websites allow automated tools to read.
  • Written with AI. Each article is written by artificial intelligence (AI) in new words, using only facts from those reports. When several outlets cover the same event, their reports are combined into one article.
  • Sources always listed. Every article names the outlets it is based on and links to their original reports in a “Sources” section at the end.
  • Published automatically. Articles are published automatically, without an editor reviewing each one before it goes live.
  • Real, credited photos. We use free-to-use real photos: official press photos published by governments and public organisations, and Creative Commons or public-domain photos. Every photo is credited with its author, source and licence. Older photos are marked “File photo”. When no accurate photo is available, we show a branded Peak Journalism news card instead. We do not use AI-generated images or stock photos.

What this means for you

AI tools can get things wrong, and the reporting we start from can change after we publish. For important decisions, please check the original sources linked in each article and official announcements.

Mistakes and corrections

If you spot a mistake, please tell us through our Contact page or by emailing connect@ravifranklin.com. We read every report, and when we find an error we will correct it. You can read how this works on our Corrections page.
